What NK Olimpija Ljubljana is

OlimpijaNK Olimpija Ljubljana

Olimpija is the club of the Slovenian capital and one of the best-known names in the country’s football. It plays in the PrvaLiga, the top division, and competes every season for the title, the cup and European qualification.

Home matches are played at the Stožice Stadium, opened in 2010, with a capacity of 16,038 for football. It is also the home of the Slovenian national team.

Identity

Green and white, with the Ljubljana dragon as its emblem. The team is known as the “Zmaji” — the Dragons.

Honours

Eight championships within the Olimpija tradition, the most recent in 2024/25, and eight national cups.

Standing

A capital-city club with real expectation, professional infrastructure and regular attention from international scouts.

For a striker coming out of Africa, this is a controlled entry into Europe: a first division, a real stadium, and a club people watch.
02

Leadership and sporting structure

Since 1 October 2021 the German entrepreneur Adam Delius has been majority shareholder and president. The leadership is openly international, which matters directly for a player arriving from Nigeria.

Adam Delius
President · majority owner
German entrepreneur, owner since October 2021.
Necat Aygün
Sporting director
Appointed in April 2026. Born in Munich, former professional in Germany and Turkey: 1860 Munich, Beşiktaş, Duisburg, Ingolstadt. Later scouting and sporting management at 1860 Munich, then technical director at Karlsruher SC.
Mišo Brečko
Head coach
In charge since June 2026. Former Slovenian international shaped by German football: 1. FC Köln, Hamburger SV, Hansa Rostock.

The remainder of the leadership structure, with German-speaking contacts directly reachable.
A German-speaking axis at the presidency and in sporting management: exactly the channel TTMIB works through, and the reason this file can be handled directly.
03

The European stage

The 2024/25 season shows what the club can offer when it qualifies. Olimpija came through UEFA Conference League qualifying against Polissya Zhytomyr, Sheriff Tiraspol and HNK Rijeka — including a 5–0 home win over Rijeka.

The club reached the knockout play-offs and went out by the narrowest margin, 0–1 on aggregate against Borac Banja Luka.

The 2026/27 season began in mid-July 2026 with a clear objective: back to the top of the league and back into European qualification. That is precisely the season in which a striker who scores becomes decisive for the club.

Arriving at the start of a cycle is worth more than arriving at the end. The players remembered are the ones who were part of the comeback.
04

Olimpija as a transfer platform

This is the most important point for Enyimba and for Chidera alike. Olimpija does not hold on to its players: it develops them, exposes them and sells them on into stronger markets.

Raul FloruczForward · Austria
Left in 2025 for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, one of the strongest clubs in Belgium. Officially presented by the club as a record transfer. An attacking player, sold on from Ljubljana.
~ €5.5m
Peter AgbaMidfielder · Nigeria
Two seasons in Ljubljana, then a move to Maccabi Haifa. The club confirmed a substantial fee without publishing the exact figure; public sources cite roughly €1.0–1.2m. A Nigerian player developed in Ljubljana and sold on.
~ €1.0–1.2m
Marcel RatnikCentre back · Slovenia
Transferred in 2025 to Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.
~ €2.2m
Timi Max ElšnikMidfielder · Slovenia
Left in 2024 for Red Star Belgrade.
~ €1.5m
Mateo Aćimović18 years old · 2026
Joined UD Las Palmas in summer 2026 on a contract until 2030. Fee undisclosed. Proof that Spanish clubs follow Olimpija’s young players.
Undisclosed
The Agba case is the direct precedent: a Nigerian player arrives, plays, is seen, and moves on for a seven-figure fee. That is the path this transfer is designed to repeat.

Chidera Michael — profile and record

EnyimbaEnyimba FC

Chidera Michael, born 10 June 2005, Nigerian centre-forward, right-footed, known as « Moratta ». Developed at Ozalla Football Academy in Onitsha, Anambra State, and signed by Enyimba FC ahead of the 2025/26 season. Contract until 30 June 2027.

In his first NPFL season he scored 12 goals in all competitions — 11 in the league, one in the Federation Cup — and finished as his club’s top scorer. He did that while managing injuries and while making the jump from academy football straight into elite competition.

Not just goals — impact

His goals fell in nine matches. Enyimba won eight of them and lost one, an average of 2.67 points per match. Five of his eleven league goals were outright match winners.

Against whom

He scored against Bayelsa United, Bendel Insurance, Rangers International, Kwara United, Shooting Stars, Abia Warriors, Katsina United — and against eventual champions Remo Stars. Named NPFL Player of Week 5 after coming off the bench to win the game against Bendel Insurance.

Goals 2025/26
20
Years old
The player
A physical, direct centre-forward with finishing instinct, used to the duels and the intensity of Nigerian first-division football.
The club
A first division where those strengths translate immediately — without the tactical density of a top-five league blocking a young striker’s first season.
The player
Twelve goals in a debut season, five of them match winners: a scorer who turns up in the moments that decide points.
The club
A club chasing the title back and needing exactly that — goals that convert draws into wins across a long season.
The player
Twenty years old, one full professional season behind him, and explicitly aiming at Europe rather than at any available contract.
The club
A squad of around 33 players, average age 25, ~60% foreign: a dressing room used to integrating players from abroad.
The player
Came straight from an academy into the NPFL and still finished top scorer — a steep learning curve already proven once.
The club
A club with a working development-and-resale model, and a Nigerian precedent in Peter Agba.
06

The role on the pitch

Three concrete uses, all consistent with his profile. They will be defined directly with the head coach and the sporting director.

A

Centre-forward

The natural position: the reference point in the box, attacking crosses and second balls, finishing what the wide players create.

B

Mobile nine

Dropping into the half-spaces and attacking the back line in behind, using his physicality to hold and then turn.

C

Impact from the bench

A role he has already mastered: several of his goals, including the Player-of-the-Week winner, came after coming on. Useful from day one while he adapts.

He does not need to be carried through a first season in Europe. He has already done the hardest version of this jump once — from academy football into the NPFL — and finished top scorer.
07

The TTMIB project behind this transfer

TTMIB does not place a player to collect a commission and disappear. The aim is a first European step that protects the player, rewards Enyimba and prepares the next transfer.

Direct access

Direct discussion with the club’s leadership, without a chain of intermediaries. Sporting role, contract and integration plan are negotiated in the same place.

One single document

The player and Enyimba receive exactly the same presentation, the same figures and the same deal model.

Enyimba stays involved

Aba does not disappear from the file after the transfer: a strong share of the next sale and bonuses tied to Chidera’s performance in Europe.

A three-year horizon

1. Establish himself in the PrvaLiga. 2. The European stage with the club. 3. The move to a stronger market — Belgium, Austria, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland or Scandinavia.

08

The proposed transfer model

With the contract running only to 30 June 2027, a loan makes little sense for either side: it costs a year and settles nothing. The cleaner route is a direct transfer with a controlled fee and a strong share of the next sale.

Primary model
Direct transfer to NK Olimpija Ljubljana. No loan construction.
Target fee
€50,000 as a realistic basis, up to approximately €100,000 depending on the contract situation, payment terms and the sell-on clause.
Sell-on share
The central element of the deal. The lower the immediate fee, the higher the share of the next transfer must be. The contract states explicitly whether the percentage applies to the full sale price or only to the profit above the original fee.
Alternative
Contract settlement or release against a fixed sell-on participation, if an immediate fee cannot be agreed.
Bonuses
Appearance and goal bonuses, plus payments on the championship title and on European qualification.
Protections
A guaranteed professional contract for Chidera, a defined minimum term, no onward loan without consent, and clearly defined medical and insurance cover.
Clear line: no complicated loan structure. Either a fair immediate fee in the €50,000–100,000 range, or a smaller solution carrying a high share of the next sale.

Arriving in Ljubljana

Ljubljana is a safe, compact and international capital. For a first step in Europe the environment is calmer and easier to read than a city of several million. Everything below is organised before arrival, not afterwards.
